Reading the early-onset SHARE layers: a high under-50 share (e.g. Chad, Sudan, Angola ~50–60%) largely reflects a young population age-structure and low overall CRC rates — not a high early-onset rate. For the true early-onset signal compare the under-50 incidence/mortality counts and rates, not the share. Counts use a log colour scale; ASR and shares linear. Source: GLOBOCAN 2024 (IARC).
